Lando Norris took his second win on the opening round of the MSA Formula championship in race three today. After starting from pole position the Carlin driver didn’t get a good start off the line, losing out to James Pull into Paddock Hill Bend, before dropping further back into P3 behind Matheus Leist.
By this stage the Safety Car was out for the beached Gustavo Myasava down at Druids. At the restart Pull managed to fend off Norris, who was looking racy for the next couple of laps. However on lap nine Jack Butel became stranded after contact with Josh Smith battling in the midfield.
Once the Safety Car came in Norris made the best out of the restart, and took first position heading into paddock hill bend. From then on in he stretched out the gap, getting his lead up to three seconds by the chequered flag. Pull then came under fire from Leist in the final couple of laps, however he managed to fend him off once they reached the line to claim second place. Barlow finished fourth ahead of Ticktum, Collard, Ahmed, Baybutt, Martins, and Fielding.
