The new-look Red Bull livery for its 2016 challenger was unveiled at an event in London today.
The livery takes on the classic ‘Red Bull’ sidepod theme, doing away with the ‘Infiniti’ sponsorship which seems to have found its way onto the interim 2016 Renault livery. The purple is also absent, whilst a matte finish along with less white outlines paints what was described by team principle Christian Horner as an ‘aggressive’ paint scheme.
The team also shed some light on its partnership with Puma, explaining how it has taken them the last 12 months to come up with a design for the overalls for the drivers which shed crucial bits of weight to add to the performance of the car.
The full RB12 will be unveiled in Barcelona next week, where the teams will take part in the first pre-season test of the year.
