Williams will unveil its 2016 challenger on the first day of pre-season testing in February.
Head of Performance Engineering Rob Smedley confirmed at today’s Autosport Show to Sky Sports that they are going for a low-key unveiling at the first test in Barcelona, when the teams will run their cars for the first time on track.
This is the first team to confirm the date it plans on showing their car before heading onto the track so far, with many other teams also looking like they may delay until pre-season testing. Some may also chose to show their cars on a shakedown, which is what Mercedes have done historically for the last couple of seasons.
Pre-season testing is set to take place on February 22nd – 25th and March 1st – 4th.
